Unfortunately for me, it pushes my head forward, putting my neck into a completely non-neutral position. As other reviews have stated there is no back-forward adjustment either so I think this will either work for you, or be pretty uncomfortable. I found it gave me bad neck pain within 20 mins or so.For $70 (for a headrest!) I expected excellent build quality but that's not the case. It's not terrible either, but is somewhat at odds with the chair it's designed to accompany. The headrest arrived assembled incorrectly (the headrest was mounted to the bracket assembly facing the wrong way), dirty and in dirty, dusty bubblewrap. Nothing major, it wiped clean, but again for a $70 headrest this is not what I expect. I really only want it in one position, all the way up and tilted forward. I'll probably tighten the headrest a little more so it stays tilted forward. As far as the up/down there is no mechanism I see to prevent that movement, so I may get creative. The chair is for me, so I'm not concerned about others needing to adjust it.
