Not too hard to assemble, but don't use a power drill for the screws that go into the top piece of wood - we did and the tip of the screw went thru. Oops.Bought this to keep my curious toddler from turning on and off my computer. Only thing that I don't like about this is that if the door aren't 100% open the keyboard tray will create scratches on the inside of the doors. Assembly instructions are clear. Unit went together very easily. It feels quite sturdy for engineered wood.(its not solid wood). One issue is that the finish scratches very easily. Also my computer looks to be the same size as the one dipicted the the stock photo. Its a mid tower. In order to close the doors ,I had to cut the backing and push the computer all the way in with the back sticking out about 2 inches . Other than that, its a very nice unit.
