I can't believe that I had sharped them by hand before.The case in very nice. It is heavy duty plastic. There is a holder in there for your grinding and cut off wheels. The handle can be put on either side if you are left or right handed. Bottom Line - I love it. This is my second DeWalt too. Also this one can be held on, as most can, simple click the paddle and it turns off.
